Check out the temporarily redesigned street that features colorful places to sit, eat and shop, as well as a community gathering space! Pick up produce at the Farmer’s Market, browse the goods of unique street vendors, and sample local cuisine, all while enjoying music and live performances.

Activities

Enjoy free activities at Active West Covina:

  • Entertainment by local performers – Check back for the day-of performance program.
  • Farmers’ Market – Pick up your locally sourced groceries for the week.
  • Local vendors – Browse one-of-a-kind goods provided by local merchants and vendors.
  • Food – Discounted delicious local food will be available. Stay awhile and enjoy your food in unique and shaded outdoor seating areas.
  • Go Human Challenge Stations – Use your event program and visit each station to play games, collect stamps and enter to win awesome prizes!
  • Feedback Stations – Share your thoughts on what you think of the temporary features.

    Volunteers​​

    Every volunteer plays a key role in making Active West Covina a safe and fun event. Whether you have two hours or all day, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved.     How to Get There

    By Bike

    We encourage to you to bike to the event to test the temporary street features and easily make your way to the activities and activations along the event route.


    By Walking

    We encourage you to walk to the event so you may take your time to experience all of the activities that the event has to offer. In addition, you’ll be cutting vehicle emissions improving the air quality for your neighborhood!


    Transit

    Taking transit is another great option to travel to Active West Covina. The event is accessible by Foothill Transit buses 178 and 281 at the Valinda Avenue and Glendora Avenue stop and by the 480 and 488 buses at the Vincent Avenue and Lakes Drive stop.


    By Car

    Glendora Avenue between Lakes Drive and Glendora Square will be closed to all vehicle traffic. Vehicles will be detoured to Lakes Drive and Dalewood Street. Parking is available in the parking structure off Dalewood Street.
