Bike, walk, or skate to experience and provide feedback on a new vision for Glendora Avenue. Check out the temporarily redesigned street that features colorful places to sit, eat and shop, as well as a community gathering space! Pick up produce at the Farmer’s Market, browse the goods of unique street vendors, and sample local cuisine, all while enjoying music and live performances.
Every volunteer plays a key role in making

We encourage to you to bike to the event to test the temporary street features and easily make your way to the activities and activations along the event route.
We encourage you to walk to the event so you may take your time to experience all of the activities that the event has to offer. In addition, you’ll be cutting vehicle emissions improving the air quality for your neighborhood!
Taking transit is another great option to travel to
Active West Covina. The event is accessible by Foothill Transit buses 178 and 281 at the Valinda Avenue and Glendora Avenue stop and by the 480 and 488 buses at the Vincent Avenue and Lakes Drive stop.
Glendora Avenue between Lakes Drive and Glendora Square will be closed to all vehicle traffic. Vehicles will be detoured to Lakes Drive and Dalewood Street. Parking is available in the parking structure off Dalewood Street.
Active West Covina’s temporary pop-up street improvements will take place on Glendora Avenue between Dalewood Street and West Covina Parkway in West Covina. There will be activity hubs stationed along the route. The more you visit, the more you’ll learn and the more prizes you’ll collect!
“Complete” streets are streets that are designed for all users and all modes; including drivers, transit riders and people walking and biking. Complete streets makes the roads safer and more enjoyable for people of all ages and abilities to use.
