New 5|Transportation Committee

The role of the Transportation Committee is to study problems, programs and other matters pertaining to the regional issues of mobility, air quality, transportation control measures, and communications and to make recommendations on such matters to the Regional Council.

Major programs under the purview of the Transportation Committee are the Connect SoCal Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy, the Regional Transportation Improvement Program, Aviation program, highway, transportation finance and transportation conformity.
